Sync in Premiere Pro
Premiere Pro provides powerful multicam syncing with timecode support.
Import Your Files
- Open Premiere Pro
- Create or open a project
- Import all PixelRecorder files (File > Import)
- Files appear in Project panel with timecode
Create Multi-Camera Sequence
- Select all clips to sync in Project panel
- Right-click selected clips
- Choose Create Multi-Camera Source Sequence
- Configure settings:
- Synchronize Point: Timecode
- Sequence Preset: Match your format
- Audio: Select audio handling
- Click OK
Verify Sync
- Double-click the multi-camera sequence
- Open in Source Monitor
- Check sync between angles
- All sources should align perfectly
Edit Multi-Camera
Enable Multi-Camera View
- Add multi-camera sequence to timeline
- Go to Window > Multi-Camera Monitor
- See all angles simultaneously
Switching Angles
During Playback:
- Play the timeline
- Click angles in Multi-Camera Monitor
- Cuts are recorded live
Manual Editing:
- Right-click clip in timeline
- Multi-Camera > [angle name]
- Or use keyboard shortcuts
Audio Options
When creating multi-camera sequence:
- All Cameras: Include audio from all sources
- Camera 1: Use audio from first camera only
- Audio Track: Use specific audio track
For separate BWF files:
- Import BWF files
- Include when creating sequence
- Timecode syncs automatically

Frame Rate
Ensure all clips and project use same frame rate:
- Check clip properties
- Match sequence settings
- Avoid mixed frame rates
Audio Sync
For best audio sync:
- Use dedicated audio tracks
- Timecode in BWF ensures accuracy

- Use bins for organization

Troubleshooting
Sync Fails
Check timecode is embedded:
- Right-click clip > Properties
- Check timecode field
- Should show valid timecode
Verify matching frame rates:
- All clips same frame rate
- Sequence matches clips

- Check PixelRecorder settings
- Verify all recordings started together
- Manually adjust if necessary
