Recording Guide
PixelRecorder offers flexible recording options for various use cases.
Screen Recording
Full Screen
Record your entire display at native resolution.
- Click Screen in the source panel
- Select your display from the dropdown
- Click Record
Window Recording
Capture a specific application window.
- Click Screen in the source panel
- Select Window mode
- Choose the window from the list
- Click Record
Camera Recording
Add a camera feed to your recording.
- Click Camera in the source panel
- Select your camera from the dropdown
- Adjust position and size as needed
- Click Record
Audio Configuration
Microphone
Record voiceover with your microphone.
- Click Audio in the source panel
- Select your microphone from the input dropdown
- Adjust input levels as needed
System Audio
Capture audio from applications.
- Enable System Audio in the audio panel
- Select which applications to capture (or all)
Video Codecs
PixelRecorder supports multiple output codecs:

Output Settings
Configure where and how recordings are saved:
- Output folder - Where files are saved
- File naming - Template for file names
- Resolution - Native or scaled
- Frame rate - 30, 60, or custom FPS
